Latest Hospital Mural
Following a request from the manager of the Neurophysiology department which sees patients of all ages and from all specialities for investigations on the nervous system, The Friends were happy to support their request to make the unit look less clinical & more user friendly by funding the painting of the Lighthouse sandy shore mural.

A New Launch!
Congratulations to NHS Fife’s Maternity Unit on it’s new initiative designed to empower women and their birth partners during the labour and birth process. Labour Hopscotch empowers women and their partners through a series of guided exercises, relaxation techniques, and coping strategies.

New Donation to The Friends
In August 2024, The Friends of Kirkcaldy Hospitals gratefully received a donation of £150 from Migele Experience in Kirkcaldy. Fundraising is one of The Friends’ activities and our effectiveness depends on the continual generosity of the people of Kirkcaldy and of Fife. We are grateful to Dom Migele for his support for The Friends!
